“Restoration of a village house between party walls in front of Monells Brook, recovering the historical materials and adapting the premises to modern requirements”

The work has involved the restoration of the façade which had been damaged over the years, the demolition of a structural wall of Pb to turn the space into a diaphanous area and knocking down the staircase partition wall to enable its stone stairs to be enjoyed from a sculptural standpoint.

  • The Challenge

    The greatest challenge involved making two new openings in the façade to obtain greater interior light while ensuring they were perfectly integrated from an historical and architectural point of view.
